A Very Minnie Birthday Party!

Our latest event was a 2nd birthday party for an adorable two year old!  The party was planned to be indoors, but the weather had different plans.  It's been raining for about three days straight here in sunny Southern California.  We made a few adjustments, and we loved how everything turned out.  It was a fun, girly, and stylish party - just like the birthday girl herself!

The dessert/candy bar:  cupcakes, yogurt covered pretzels, red & black licorice, peppermints, Hershey's Kisses, Tootsie Rolls, red cinnamon hard candy, and Minnie shaped rice krispy treats.

The invitation ~ used as decor on the dessert table.

A Little Halloween Wedding Inspiration!

We love the idea of a chic Halloween wedding.  There is definitely a way to throw a great wedding ~ or any event on a holiday ~ in a classy way.  Here are some great inspiration shots...

We love this dessert display ~ and we think we'd love the yummy treats on it even more!

The key to a chic Halloween event is to stick to elegant colors ~ think white, black, deep purples or reds.  It is absolutely possible to throw a spectacular event that's not so "in your face" Halloween.

Happy Trick-or-Treating!

Mittskus Wine-Themed Cupcake Display

Danielle & Kyle went with a wine theme for their October wedding at the Summit House in Fullerton, California.  What a beautiful location ~ and a beautiful day!

We loved creating this cupcake display design incorporating the wine theme as well as their bright choice of colors.  We love how it turned out!

The cupcakes and couple's cake were actually made by Ashley of Your's Truly
The "M" cake topper was handmade by a friend of the bride - so pretty!

Danielle planned every other aspect of her wedding all on her own.  She did a fabulous job ~ so we had to shoot some photos of the details!

What a view!
